Dry moss, Vienna: a DJ and producer platform making music, sounds and effects for film, spots and the web.
Founded by Gregor Farkasch and Chris Campregher. We record in the field, play live, restore old audio and capture acoustic instruments as they really sound in the room.
trockenmoos (German for “dry moss”) started in 2000 as a DJ and producer platform. Since then we’ve built soundtracks, sound effects and recordings for websites, commercials, films and live stages.
Our favourite work happens where sound meets something unexpected – scientists painting their thesis, lab noise turned into beats, a concert hall caught in a single take.

Studied genetics in Salzburg, Berlin and Vienna and did cancer research at the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Molecular Cancer Chemoprevention at the Medical University of Vienna. Resident DJ at elektro gönner, playing electro and minimal as well as jazz and classical. Records chamber music, paints, and co-organised chamber music festivals in Bad Ischl and Mariazell.

Composer, producer and DJ, born in Istanbul. Studied composition and electro-acoustic music in Istanbul and at the Mozarteum Salzburg, then played his minimal and experimental techno across Austria. Now based in Berlin, releasing as Magna Pia on Soma Records.

Part of the trockenmoos crew as tung lashor. Today he is a researcher in infection biology at the Medical University of Vienna.
